Curveball is almost here!

It's been a long journey, but Curveball is going live next week! I'm so excited to share Zach and Emma's story with you. What I especially love about them as characters is that they aren't perfect by any stretch, but they keep trying. And really that's true for this story's journey to print. I wrote this book more than a decade ago! I was pregnant with my son when I had the opportunity to take a trip to Ireland. All the things Emma sees—and drags Zach to—are places we went on our trip.

When I got home, this story just poured out of me. I fell in love with these characters and desperately wanted to publish their story. But for some reason, having a newborn and a kindergartner didn't leave a whole lot of time for me to pursue other dreams! So I set the story aside and focused on my husband and kids...and job...and house...and dogs...and, well, you know how it goes. Life has a way of filling up.

But a friend helped get my dreams back on track. It's been a ton of work, but the day is finally almost here! I can't wait to finally share this funny and emotional journey with the world.
